Is it possible to load a different keyboard mapping using an action?

Set a custom button as deck 1 play & deck 2 play & sync

ok that works if both (same) tracks are in the same position (e.g. Start position)
I also made a deck 1 pause & deck 2 pause
but what about if each deck are in different position in track or if i jump one of decks to another position? how to make the other deck sync position?
How to make e.g. start both decks from position of deck 1?

So wanted to try this behavior in Serato, but as soon I connect the controller and getting recognized, the EQ knobs panel dissapears from the software. Cant check visually from which position it start reacting to the hardware knobs...

The NS7 is not however, but it doesn't mean it won't work...just that you would have to do more to get it working.

Controlling 4 Decks with one TC vinyl

Hi All..
Been using VDJ for a couple years now. Decided to do some customization.
I have a DDJ-FLX6-GT and a NI Audio 4 DJ sound card where I input TC Vinyl from Technics 1200.
Generally I have been mixing on decks 1&2, and just set up Deck 3 for scratching. That was pretty easy and works well. In this mode, I'm left handed so scratching happens with the crossfader hamster. I did map a button to toggle that if I want to.

No, the cues, grids etc are either kept in the VirtualDJ database.xml (which is stored on the VDJ home folder on your PC) or the Engine Database folder on your Engine drive whether that's a SD card, pen drive, portable SSD etc.

I didn't know that. I have often downloaded songs with the hotcues already inserted, so I assumed VDJ must read/write them to the MP3 tag. I learned something new!

Using Virtual DJ 2023 with Traktor Kontrol X1 (mk1)

Finally got it to work. Posting here in case it helps someone.

All I had to do was press SHIFT+HOTCUE on the x1 (mk1). That takes the x1 (mk1) into MIDI Mode and the Hotcue light turns Green and stays on.

Now the x1 responds as it should. Been playing around with it for the past 20 mins. Keys seem to respond well on VDJ.
