I would LOVE to see VDJ natively support the Stream Deck as a controller. Yes, you can keyboard map it , but it's a bit limited. Yes, a few people have experimented with MIDI plugins and kind of got it working, but not fully from what I've seen. The main advantage to this piece of kit is that the buttons, rather than just being backlit by RGB lights, they can be anything, due to the LCD screen behind the buttons. I would love to use my stream deck to control VDJ's sampler - imagine beng able to jump between different pages of samples, and the sample names would update on the streamdeck's buttons as you did so. Other programs such as Vmix can fully integrate with it, meaning that you can have the illumination of a button follow what's going on in the software in the same way as any other DJ controller would. However in VDJ currently it's not so easy. Some native integration of such a useful little device would be of interest to many on here I'm sure!

Yeah. Also Stream Deck +. With 4 potensiometers, 8 buttons and touch screen it would be perfect for those who don't have the premium/expensive controllers. I would like to see filters and effects integration with this.

Seeing as the sampler has recently been given some love in the latest 2025 update (currently in beta I believe), I just thought I'd bump this one. If it was natively supported in VDJ, the Streamdeck would be the ideal accessory to stick next to your controller for triggering samples. Pretty please VDJ tech gurus! :)

While we may, or may not support Elgato natively, it is NOT the ideal accessory for sampler.
That would be a "pads" controller instead (there are plenty of them in the market)

Hello,
I'm thinking about buying the streaming deck
can be used for the samples from VDJ, but is there another deck that works better with VDJ? or another solution?
