Starting his DJ career in 1984, Chris Doss A.K.A FM1 is one of the few remaining DJ’s around that
experienced the dance revolution throughout all its stages as it progressed in Kuala Lumpur,

Centre &Travellers Pub to name but a few. Always passionate about music, FM1 started at an early age of 18 as a DJ and every party he has performed at brings good feedback from the clients. Having worked with event management and sound & lighting companies such as Scanray, Duchess, Nightbirds, The Entertainment Workshop, Music Times, Twosons Audio and United Future Productions has given FM1 good knowledge and
experience in the field of Sound & Light and Show Productions.
FM1 is also very accomplished on the microphone when required and can adapt to suit any
audience. He is also a Professional MC who loves to host Theme Parties.
FM1 performs at clubs nationwide, prestigious corporate events and celebrity weddings. He has
built up valuable experience playing at well over 1500 gigs, but is always keen to learn and is
constantly striving to improve his performances. He is always willing and enthusiastic to play
whatever genre of music that is required to get the dance floor moving: be it an 80th birthday
party, a trendy nightclub, exquisite weddings, black tie corporate events or an annual dinner &
dance.
FM1 likes to provide a smart, professional and enjoyable experience at all of his gigs and
welcomes prepared requests and play lists prior to the event so he can ensure a great evening
with the music you want to hear and enjoy.
FM1’s love watching people enjoying themselves, dancing to the music he plays - to him there is
no better satisfaction! A connoisseur of Club Classics, 70's, 80's and 90's Retro, R&B, Pop and
House.
FM1 is very well acquainted with all the popular dance tunes from the past 35 years and plays the
appropriate music to suit the mood of any function, corporate event or club. He plays commercial,
house, funky house and trance to name but a few, although you will most probably find music from every genre and era imaginable in his collection!!
