earlyAccessUpdate no longer works in Version 8490 - 8497

I second this report - I found that switching it off didn't do anything for restarts for those versions (I still was prompted for the EA update).

worked for me on my desktop and laptop. did you try going to the builds download page to work around and install?

Getting the update wasn't really the issue (I was able to get it through the regular update channel). Turning it off is what didn't work for me - it kept prompting me to upgrade to the latest EA, regardless of the setting, when I downgraded to the latest stable version for a gig on Monday.

If the update file is already downloaded it will ask to install it on startup

That was unexpected for me - I guess my assumption was if Early Access updates are switched off, it would not prompt to install the update if it was an Early Access one (I guess even if it was downloaded and cached previously).

Yes I've hit this before but it does sort itself as the builds increase.

My M1 MacBook Pro took 3 restart attempts to update.
I've yet to do my Touchbar MBP (backup) which is also Bootcamped with Windows 10.
Main System Specs
M1 MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2022), Apple Silicon M1 Pro, 16gb, 500 gb SSD, macOS Sequoia 15.2, VirtualDJ v2025-m b8497.
